Sheff Wed v Leeds
A big Yorkshire derby that was for a long time played at the top level, but it is now nineteen years since they met in the Premiership. As is quite often the case in these derbies, six of the last eight head to head were Under 2.5 goals. Leeds have only won on one of their last four visits to Hillsborough so expect a close encounter. Under 2.5 goals at 1.91 looks a fair-trading option.
Huddersfield v Barnsley
Just a couple of recent meetings today with Huddersfield winning at home 2-1 and a 1-1 draw at Oakwell. This is a bottom of the table scrap and three points would be massive and at 1.85 Huddersfield are the selection, as they may have turned the corner with four games unbeaten. The new manager seems to have made an impact and it might be worth keeping them onside in the next few weeks.
Hull v Derby
Derby have won six of the last eight meetings today with one draw, with three wins and a draw on their last four trips to Hull. One stand out stat is that in seven of those last eight meetings today, Hull have failed to score. It would be crazy not to have a small interest on Derby to win to Nil at 6.50 and a small lay of Hull at 2.25.
Middlesbrough v Fulham
Three recent meetings today at the Riverside all ended Under 2.5 goals as did the last two meetings today in London. Fulham lost at Stoke, their first defeat in six, but Boro have been poor and need a big change of luck. The game doesn’t scream out goals and 1.80 for Under 2.5 goals as a trading option appeals most.
Nottm Forest v Reading
Seven of the last eight head to head ended in home wins with the other result being a draw. Forest at 2.10 appeal, especially at home, even though they lost at Wigan whilst Reading finally won at home to Preston. They have had a good season so far and can regain the winning thread here.
Preston v Blackburn
Six recent meetings today in this division with five going Over 2.5 goals and two of the three games at Preston going Over 4.5 goals. Before losing at Reading, Preston had been unbeaten in eight and Blackburn have not won in four. Preston will be popular at 1.91 but at 1.80, Over 2.5 goals looks a much better option.

Swansea v Cardiff
The first Welsh derby in five years and it will be fiercely fought. In the previous six meetings today to that, there were three wins apiece with no real solid stats. Current form is probably the best indicator here with Cardiff one defeat in nine and Swansea just one win in six after a great start. Cardiff might be worth chancing at 3.50 with a view to trading.
Bristol City v Wigan
Four recent encounters with the two games in Bristol ending 2-2 and 2-1. Bristol City had their ten-match unbeaten run ended by Luton but can get back on track against a Wigan side who have lost five and drawn one of their six away games. Bristol City to win at 1.91 and trade for stake back if they lead.
