Friday 18th October 2019
Frankfurt v Leverkusen
No draws in the last nine head to head and both have made good starts to the season. Frankfurt have lost just twice and Leverkusen just the once so unless it does end in a draw, then something has to give. Frankfurt have scored in every game and that will hold them in good stead and eight of the last nine head to head saw Over 2.5 goals so that might be the way to go. Chance Over 3.5 goals at 2.20 with a view to trading out if early goals.
Saturday 19th October 2019
Dusseldorf v Mainz
Only two relevant recent meetings today, both of which Mainz won. Neither have started well, Dusseldorf with one win and Mainz with two, although they were the more recent. I couldn’t put much faith in either of these two so a small Lay of Mainz at 2.80 as a trading option.
Augsburg v Bayern Munich
How will Bayern bounce back from their home defeat by Hoffenheim in the last game before the International break? Bayern have won on their last five visits to Augsburg and all five games were Over 3.5 goals. Augsburg have not started the season well with just one win in their seven games so far. A tough one as Bayern will win, but there is very little value. An interest on Bayern to win to Nil at 2.10 is possibly worth am interest.
RB Leipzig v Wolfsburg
Wolfsburg are unbeaten and Leipzig have lost just once so this should be a decent game. Five of the six head to head ended Under 2.5 goals but it is hard to believe there will not be goals here. Leipzig -1 on the handicap gives us a few trading options at 2.50.
Werder Bremen v Hertha Berlin
Hertha are unbeaten in three games following three successive defeats and looked to have turned the corner, but this will be no easy match as Bremen have lost just once in five, the last two being draws. Three of the last four head to head ended level and that is a big possibility here. Bremen to win at 2.05 with a view to trading for the stake back if they lead.
Dortmund v Moenchengladbach
The game of the weekend, especially as Dortmund need to get back on track after three 2-2 draws have seen them slip to eighth place. Gladbach are top of the table with five wins from seven games, winning their last four including all three away games. Head to head, Dortmund have won the last eight and have won the last five meetings today at home by 2-1, 6-1, 4-1, 4-0 and 1-0. Dortmund to win and Over 2.5 goals at 1.91.

Hoffenheim v Schalke
Probably the two most frustrating sides in the league, Hoffenheim have been awful this season and then they go and stun Bayern in Munich. Schalke were my team to follow last season and they were shocking, but this season they are back to normal with just one defeat, to Bayern. Taking 2.60 about Schalke winning away from home is a quick way to the poor house, but it would be no surprise to see them win, Over 2.5 goals at 1.73 is a much better option.
