Friday 20th September 2019
Schalke v Mainz
Schalke have won the last five meetings today in Gelsenkirchen, the last three to Nil. There have been no draws in the last ten head to head. Schalke won 5-1 away at Paderborn last week and may finally have found their form. Mainz beat Hertha last week after three losses, but they could struggle here. On the stats we have to chance a little on Schalke to win to Nil at 3.00.

Bayern Munich v Koln
Bayern have won nine and drawn one of the last ten meetings today, so Koln have an uphill struggle. They will point to the fact that the drawn game was in Munich. This is probably a match to leave alone, but Koln may score and a small interest on Both Teams To Score at 2.00 may pay dividends.
Freiburg v Augsburg
Recent games between the two in Freiburg ended 5-1, 2-0, 2-1 and 2-0. There has been no away win in the last eight overall head to head. It was a surprise when Augsburg beat Frankfurt last week and Freiburg should continue their fine start to the season and get three points here. Freiburg to win at 1.95.
Werder Bremen v RB Leipzig
Six relevant head to head, five home wins and a draw. In Bremen the three games finished 2-1, 1-1 and 3-0. Four of the six games were Over 2.5 goals. Leipzig are the third best team in Germany at present and would normally be a confident pick here, but they travel to Lisbon in midweek for the Champions League and that may have an effect. I’m tempted to chance Bremen at 4.33 with a view to trading for a green book if they score first or lead.
Hertha Berlin v Paderborn
Only two meetings today at this level and that was four years ago, both ended in home wins. This is difficult to weigh up as they have both lost three and drawn one so the logical thing is to go with home advantage but that is odds on. Another game to maybe chance the outsiders as Paderborn have at least scored in all games., so try them at 4.50 with a view to trading.
Sunday 22nd September 2019
Borussia M’gladbach v Dusseldorf
These two have only met four times in the last twenty years with Borussia winning both home games and Dusseldorf winning and drawing at home. Neither side has started in great form so the fairest shout here is to ignore the win market and go for goals with Over 3.5 goals at 2.30 as a trading option.
Frankfurt v Dortmund
Dortmund have not won on their last four visits to Frankfurt, managing two draws. In the last eight overall head to head, six finished Over 2.5 goals. Frankfurt suffered a reverse last week and also have a tough fixture at home to Arsenal in midweek. It is just as tough for Dortmund who entertain Barcelona and I could not bet them at 1.70 against a decent side in Frankfurt. It looks like goals but that has been found in the prices so if you must play here, we could chance Over 3.5 goals at 2.10 and trade out if early goals.
