Augsburg v Leverkusen
Three wins in their last five games has all but ensured Augsburg remain in Bundesliga. Leverkusen have also been winning, their last two, and still harbour European hopes for next season. Six of the last eight head to head have ended in draws and that is the most likely scenario here. However, I don’t feel the odds truly reflect this game unless Augsburg switch off completely as the bookies seem to have over-factored in that Leverkusen need the win more. A small Lay of Leverkusen at 1.75 is the way to trade this.

Dortmund v Schalke
What has happened at Schalke this season may always remain a mystery and a major re-building process needs to take place. Dortmund continue to chase Bayern, and this is another must win game. Four of the last six head to head ended in draws, but Schalke have not won in their last five visits to Dortmund. Dortmund to win and Over 2.5 goals at 1.80.
Frankfurt v Hertha Berlin
In the last eight head to head, Frankfurt have won only once with three draws. It looks like their European exploits are taking their toll, but they cannot concentrate solely on that as they sit fourth in a Champions League spot. Hertha have lost their last four away and six of their last eight overall. Frankfurt to win to Nil at 2.80
Hannover v Mainz
A fixture that has produced goals in the past but these two have struggled in recent weeks and may find hitting the back of the net difficult. Hannover’s draw ended a run of eight successive defeats and they are all but down barring a miracle so perhaps they can now relax, and their football may improve. Mainz are safe but despite the fact they have lost their last six away, they might win here as they have won two of their last three. Lay 0-0 in the HT Correct Score market.
RB Leipzig v Freiburg
Only five meetings today at this level with Leipzig winning three (both the home games) and Freiburg winning twice. All five games were Over 2.5 goals with the two games in Leipzig ending 4-1 and 4-0. RB have extended their unbeaten run to twelve, winning their last five whilst Freiburg have lost their last three but are probably safe. Try Leipzig -1 goal on the handicap at 1.70 for a small stake.
Stuttgart v Moenchengladbach
In the last nine meetings today, Stuttgart have won just once and managed only two draws. With an outside chance to stay up, Stuttgart really need three points here, but the problem is that Gladbach still have a chance of Champions League football. Over 2.5 goals at 1.67 to trade.
Sunday 28th April 2019
Hoffenheim v Wolfsburg
The last five meetings today in Hoffenheim have seen three home wins and two draws and with Hoffenheim losing just twice in twenty-three games, Wolfsburg have a tough task. Wolfsburg have lost their last three away and urgently need to get back to their mid-season form where they won five of seven on the road. Hoffenheim look too strong and Hoffenheim to win and both teams to score looks a fair shout at 2.30.
