Dusseldorf v Freiburg
It is hard to believe that Dusseldorf managed a draw at Bayern as they have been pretty average in the two subsequent games and fallen back into their old form. It is no surprise they are bottom of the league and it looks like a very long season ahead for them. Freiburg had a great win over Leipzig last week and their steady start to the season continues. These two have no recent relevant head to head to go on so it is down to current form and I have to go with Freiburg at 2.70.
Augsburg v Schalke
Two frustrating teams who both have more ability than their league positions reflect. Four of the last six meetings today between these two were Over 2.5 goals with the other two games ending 1-1. Schalke have only lost once on their last five visits to Augsburg and have won the last three meetings today overall. I think Over 2.5 goals is the percentage call at 1.90.
Hoffenheim v Borussia M’gladbach
If ever there was a game for goals this has to be it so rather than try and pick the winner, we should keep it as simple as possible. In the last ten head to head, both teams have scored in every game, nine of the ten games have been Over 2.5 goals and eight of the ten Over 3.5 goals. Obviously, the Layers are not stupid, and they have factored these stats into the prices so at 2.00 a small interest on Over 3.5 goals is the preferred option although for those a little more adventurous, Gladbach at 3.50 are a little overpriced with a view to trading.
Stuttgart v Hertha Berlin
Hertha Berlin should win this, but they tend to be a little negative on the road and that gives Stuttgart a chance, although whether they are good enough to take that chance is debatable. The one nagging doubt about this Hertha side is that 4-1 defeat at Dusseldorf, and if they are capable of that, they can certainly lose this one. A small Lay of the Draw with a view to trading when someone scores, could be the way to go here as there has been only one draw in the last ten head to head.

Frankfurt v Leverkusen
Frankfurt have suffered a little blip in losing their last two games whilst Leverkusen are now unbeaten in three. Six of the last seven meetings today have been Over 2.5 goals and with five of Frankfurt’s six home matches also being Over and four of Leverkusen’s seven away being the same, 1.61 for that scenario seems fair. If you don’t fancy that option, Frankfurt to win at 2.30 with a view to trading is also an option.
RB Leipzig v Mainz
The two have met four times in the Bundesliga with all four being Over 2.5 goals. The two games in Leipzig ended 2-2 and 3-1 and they are unbeaten at home this season, leaving Mainz with a lot to do. Mainz have had a decent run and were unlucky not to beat Hannover but have lost just one in five. The strength of Leipzig’s home form leads me in that direction, but I don’t want to get involved at 1.40 so Leipzig to win and Over 2.5 goals at 1.95 looks a better option.
