Howard Hutchinson has kindly provided this method and explanatory video for cashing out a multiples free bet on horse racing. These can’t be laid on Betfair using the Betfair multiples because horse racing multiples are settled at SP on Betfair.
Treble Free Bet
I bet and layed a treble in Betfair on Friday in races at Haydock and qualified for a free £10 treble on Saturday.
The method that I came up with for extracting some winnings was that we could probably lay our free bet treble just using the free bet staking that we normally use for a single free bet from a bookie.
I tested my theory with my free bet treble on Saturday with the intention of putting a video together to show what happened.
Luckily I hit a loser with my first Saturday lay and made a profitable exit.
However, the odds and staking that followed for the next 2 races showed my that with small odds, we can keep liabilities of our treble down to a managable level, and hopefully trade to profit without the need for a complicated or fancy staking method.
All that we need to do is stake each runner in turn, using our normal free bet stakes.
I put my video together today describing how we might lay a free treble bet just using our normal free bet staking for each runner in turn.
Once we hit a loser, that is end of trade of course.
If we hit 3 winners, we can still do ok if we can get suitable lay odds.
