Friday 28th February 2020
Real Sociedad v Valladolid
Three recent meetings today, two draws and a win for Valladolid, in San Sebastian. Sociedad beat Valencia 3-0 and Valladolid beat Espanyol last week, so both arrive here in form. The home form of Sociedad swings the odds firmly in their favour and they are worth chancing at 2.40, -1 goal on the handicap.
Saturday 29th February 2020
Eibar v Levante
The last three head to head have ended level, as have six of the nine meetings today at this level. The four games in Eibar finished 0-0, 2-2, 4-4 and 3-3. Levante stunned Real Madrid last week and Eibar have lost the last two and this has draw written all over it. Try correct score trading around 1-1 and 2-2 looking for a green book.
Valencia v Betis
Betis have failed to score on five of their last six visits to the Mestalla. On the one occasion they did score, they won 3-2. Valencia have not won in six, conceding eight goals, but they are unbeaten at home, winning seven and drawing six. Betis have won only one of their last nine but have drawn five of them. This has a draw written all over it on current form, it is difficult to see either keeping a clean sheet, so the obvious play is Both Teams To Score at 1.70.
Granada v Celta Vigo
Three of the last four head to head were Over 2.5 goals. Celta have won four of the last five meetings today, including their last two visits to Granada. Granada have won their last three at home and three of their last four games. Celta have lost just one in seven, but generally struggle on the road. Over 2.5 goals is available at 2.50 and that should offer us a trading position.
Sunday 1st March 2020
Sevilla v Osasuna
Five of the last six meetings today were Over 2.5 goals. Sevilla have won the last three head to head in Seville. Sevilla had a fine win at Getafe and Osasuna have lost three of their last four. Sevilla to win and Over 2.5 goals at 2.30.
Athletic Bilbao v Villarreal
Three of the last five head to head were draws, including two of the last four in Bilbao. Villarreal led at Atletico before going down 3-1 last Sunday and Bilbao led 1-0 at Alaves before losing 2-1, their fourth successive defeat. They have not won in ten games. Villarreal had been in good form away and can pick their form back up here although Laying Bilbao at 2.40 is the best option keeping the draw onside.
Espanyol v Atletico Madrid
No draws in the last six meetings today with three wins apiece, Espanyol winning two of the three home games. Espanyol have not lost in their last four at home and Atletico are now unbeaten in three, but 2.00 away from home is hardly value, so a small Lay at that price is the trading angle.
Real Madrid v Barcelona
In the league, Barcelona have won on five of their last six visits to the Bernabeu, four of those six games were Over 3.5 goals. We could rattle on about stats all night, but that record will prey on the Madrid players and they are a Lay at 2.30 to keep the draw onside.
