About

Betfair, Betdaq, Bots and Blogging

There’s trading in there as well but it doesn’t begin with a B.

The author of this blog is Man of Mystery who is English and lives mainly in France and Malta. Juicestorm.com is managed by Storm and it’s thanks to him that we got started again. He looks after everything apart from the Man of Mystery posts and there is a hell of a lot to do now in our new home. The old blog featured the daily adventures of Ronbot, Ronnie’s Excel triggered bot used in conjunction with Gary and Mark’s superb Betting Assistant, the MoM Lay of the Day, WUBT – When U Bet Today, Betting Exchange Radio with many great live chats with professional traders and software authors and lots, lots more.

The original blog was hosted back in April 2007, along with many other great gambling blogs, at LastMinuteLiving.com and it quickly featured a live phone in radio show. Some of the old broadcasts can now be heard here.

Juicestorm.com will feature all of the above on an occasional basis with daily performance reports on Man of Mystery’s gambling along with reviews focused on Betting Exchange bot software but we will look at other areas as well. Poker in particular.

Man of Mystery trained in Hotel and Catering Management and his last “proper” job as he calls it was when he was 22 and was Catering Manager at University College, London. He then went in to financial services working for a major insurance company. Ten years later he formed a company which he is still a director of based in Bermuda.

He enjoys buzzing around Malta in little planes. His favourite is a Tecnam made in Italy which has a VW engine and a wooden propellor. He has had a Private Pilots Licence for over 20 years – but no plane! One day:-)

He trades Forex on the currency spot markets on his own account and he aims to never spend more than six months in any year in the same country. His daughter, aged eleven, tells her friends it’s because he like holidays. The reality is it’s part of his tax planning. Gambling is tax free in many jurisdictions but as his main income is from forex he thinks he has the balance right.

He also has a recent addition at MOM Towers of a young man who was born on August 7th 2007. He was conceived on a trip to England, via France from Malta on the return leg when he stayed with his partner’s friends in Paris. A German mother, an English father, conceived in Paris and now living in Malta. A truly European baby!

Please do not gamble with money you cannot afford to lose and please read all risk notices carefully. Make sure you test any approach you have with small amounts of capital and thoroughly test your understanding of the market and any product you use in it. We know most know all this but we’re told we should have something like this to cover ourselves. From what, we don’t really know! But we live in an over regulated world so we’re told it’s something to do with that.

If you have a site or Blog that would benefit readers here contact me, but we don’t add every blog requested. If we like your site or blog we may add it, simple as that. If it’s a blog then to be added regular updates are important.

As you will not doubt guess Man of Mystery has accounts with Betfair (joined 22nd April 2003) and Betdaq (joined a little later). He is known as Man of Mystery in both their forums. He also has accounts with Bettbull, WBX, IBTX and oneXtwo and too many accounts at poker sites to mention.
