Francis Xavier at Newcastle in the 1 mile Maiden Stakes traded at 2.23 for £34.37 with an exit of 2.18 for £35.19 and a profit of £0.78 on 25 trades. 286 trades brought a profit on the day of £0.36.

Lingfield in the 1 mile 5 furlong event we saw Melodic Motion trade at 3.11 for £135.72 and an exit of 2.99 for £140.98. A £5.00 profit on this market with 24 trades and a profit on the day of £5.50 with 278 trades.

275 trades across 13 markets produced a profit on the day of £1.69. As I write this we are all - myself, my daughter, daughter's boyfriend, Lee and Caan a little the worse for wear after the Matchbook conference. A great day.

9 markets traded today with nothing much to shout about. At the time of writing - 1st November - we're heading to the Matchbook Traders Conference. A profit on the day of £0.56.

Redcar in the 1 mile 1 furlong Novice Stakes saw our biggest losing market today. Sea Youmzain traded at 1.91 for £50.39 & an exit at 1.94 for £49.51. A loss of -£0.88 on 31 trades & a total of 10 markets gave a loss of -£0.60.

The usual limited markets for a Sunday produced only five traded markets with the highlight being Roseriver Has in the Wrexham 2 mile 4 furlong Maiden Hurdle for a profit of £6.26 and a profit on the day of £6.97.

Leopardstown and the 7 furlong Maiden brought us Flavius which traded at 2.30 for £28.61 and exited at 2.24 for £29.33. A total of 22 trades. In all, 12 markets traded with 164 trades and a loss on the day of -£0.57.

A £2.26 profit on the day with the major contribution from the Cheltenham 2 mile Maiden Hurdle. 42 trades on Slate House at 2.32 for £145.41 and an exit of 2.30 for £146.94 bringing a profit of £1.45. A total of 20 markets traded.

A £3.08 profit at Thurles in the 2 mile 6 furlong Hurdle saw Monksland traded at 1.90 for £206.02 and exited at 1.87 for £209.26. A total of 39 trades on the market and 379 trades on the day over 17 markets. £3.79 profit for the day.

392 trades and a loss on the day of -£0.59.  19 markets were traded with only 6 showing a profit. Very disappointing. There was no individual market that showed promise and the volatility needed was sadly lacking for most markets.

Newcastle and the 1 mile 4 furlong Handicap with Angel In The Snow traded at 3.05 for £14.97 and an exit of 2.95 for £15.48 with a profit of £0.48. We didn't fare so well on all 15 markets so a loss on the day of -£0.22.

The Windsor 5 furlong Handicap introduced us to Awesome Allan which traded at 3.00 for £56.99 and exited at 2.91 for £58.71. Trade volume increased with 248 trades on the day. Six markets profitable but only nine traded in total.

Six of a very low nine selected markets traded to a profit today. only 110 trades on low volatility compared to 513 trades on 28 markets yesterday. However, a profit of £0.33 produced an overall more satisfactory return.

A whopping 513 trades on 28 markets produced a loss on the day of -£0.67. No particular market stands out. A combination of small losses with no significant profitable markets leaves us with a poor trading performance on a busy Saturday.

9 of 14 markets selected today were traded profitably with the highest traded loss on any market only reaching £0.08. Redcar in the 6 furlong Novice Stakes saw Nicklaus trade to the largest profit on the first race of £0.63.

The Uttoxeter 2 mile 4 furlong Handicap Hurdle brought us Bambi Du Noyer which traded at 2.46 for £38.55 with an exit of 2.38 for £39.83. 31 trades here for a market return of £1.22 and 265 for the day producing a profit of £0.37.

Campeador rocked for us today trading at 2.62 with an exit of 2.58 and a profit of £4.53 in this Punchestown 2 mile Hurdle. The range traded was 2.3 to 2.86. A total of 20 markets and a profit on the day of £4.21.

40 trades at Kempton in the 5 furlong Handicap at 2.70 for £70.25 with Atlanta Belle exiting at 2.69 for £70.66 and a profit of £0.39 was the highlight of the day for 18 dull markets. 332 trades for a loss of -£0.26.

Alfarqad at Yarmouth was the odds on jolly when trading started at 1.99. We saw 45 trades for a leading profit on this market of £5.33. The market traded between 1.91 and 2.02 and a profit for the day of £4.44.

Cork with the 2 mile 3 furlong INHF attracted 25 trades on Secret Legacy at 2.03 for £40.41 with an exit of 2.00 for £41.09 £0.65 profit. 165 trades on 11 markets and a global profit of £0.55. Limited trading opportunities on a Sunday.

The 2 mile Hexham Bumper - National Hunt Flat - introduced Senor Lombardy as the jolly. It traded at an average of 2.63 for £96.06 exiting at 2.57 with a profit of £2.12 from £98.32. 14 markets , 223 trades and a profit on the day of £1.91.

Dundalk in the 7 furlong Maiden brought us Andesh traded at an average of 2.59 for £54.39 with an average exit of 2.53 for £55.71 and a profit on the market of £1.23 from 31 trades. 415 trades on 26 markets saw a profit on the day of £0.47.

Chelmsford City in the 1 mile 2 furlong Handicap was the event for Kohinoor Diamond which was traded at an average of 2.49 for £24.66 with an average exit of 2.45 for £25.10 and a traded profit of £0.42. 355 trades on 21 markets.

217 trades on 13 markets today for a loss of -£1.40. 4.08 was the average traded back price for £10.85 on True Companion but we saw an average exit of 4.43 for £9.99 so a loss at Gowran Park on the 7 furlong Handicap of -£0.86.

Wow! Just wow. 228 trades on 15 markets and we come out with a profit of £0.07. What can I say? The highlight was Indomeneo at Leicester in the 7 furlong Conditional Stakes with a traded profit of £2.88 but it was all downhill from there.

The Pontefract 2 mile 2 furlong Handicap brought us Transpennine Star and 24 trades for a profit of £1.25.  The Kempton 7 furlong Novice Stakes saw 44 trades on Ortiz for a profit of £1.02.  A profit on the day of £0.89.
