Borussia M’gladbach v Freiburg

According to the stats Freiburg have no chance as in the last seventeen Bundesliga meetings today, there has been no away win, and just four draws. Gladbach have won the last four at home by 3-1, 3-0, 1-0 and 1-0. Freiburg probably need a couple of wins to finish mid-table, but they will have easier opportunities than this so Gladbach to win due to their strong home form.

Schalke v Leipzig

Five meetings today at this level with two wins for Leipzig and two draws. Schalke have been shocking recently and Leipzig need to cement their Champion’s League position. Schalke are in real danger of being dragged in to a relegation fight and Leipzig could add to their woes by at least getting a point here. Lay the home side.

Stuttgart v Hoffenheim

Recent head to head in Stuttgart have ended 2-0, 5-1, 0-2 and 6-2 so those of you who fancy Stuttgart should not be put off. I can see goals in this game so that looks the way to go.

Wolfsburg v Dusseldorf

Just the one recent meeting in October where Wolfsburg won comfortably at Dusseldorf by 3-0. Dusseldorf have been a surprise all season as seen by their fine 4-0 win at Schalke and could easily frustrate a decent Wolfsburg side who are worth a small Lay with a view to trading.

Hertha Berlin v Dortmund

Four of the last six head to head ended in draws and Dortmund have not won in Berlin on their last four visits, two draws and two defeats. Dortmund have a bit of pressure on them and their class should come through, but this could easily be another draw so a small Lay of Dortmund.

Leverkusen v Werder Bremen

Recent head to head in Leverkusen ended 1-0, 1-1, 1-4 and 3-3 so Bremen might fancy their chances. Overall there is never much between the two although Leverkusen won 6-2 in Bremen last October. Leverkusen to win.

Bayern Munich v Mainz

Bayern might be everybody’s banker this weekend especially as they have won eleven and drawn two of their last fourteen head to head. The one ray of hope for Mainz is a 2-2 draw in Munich in 2017. Bayern -1 on the handicap.
